Spring Break

For my spring break I was mostly in Montreal and Quebec City Canada. It was pretty interesting, but
didn't do much because of the short amount of time and that it was so cold.

Here are some pictures:

A Cute Polar Bear!

I been getting into video games recently by either playing more or watching videos on youtube about video games either info, reviews, or walkthroughs. There was a museum in Quebec City where they had displayed old games to modern games. Of course it was sponsored by Ubisoft and the first Sculpture you see is Assassins Creed 3's character. It was really fun to play Legend of Zelda Link to the Past. I tried to play Final Fantasy 7, but it was confusing because it was all in french and Mario 64 but I think someone glitches it so I left after 2 seconds. And I played Assassins Creed 4, but I felt uncomfortable to kill anyone because there was a few kids around me so.... I'm pretty sure they turned off the blood, when I was playing the game at home, yes i have a copy and I was playing it at museum, I saw there was a button to turn off the blood... okay thats kind of weird when its not much graphic to begin with, or at least comparing it to other gory games.

I kind a want to do fan art video game franchises, maybe I will do that some time, when I'm not busy with homework. Next post will be upcoming projects to come....

Airstream Travel Poster

I know I haven't update in awhile, so I'm going to try again and update a lot more this year...so far its been hard to get used to. So this is the new project I was working on.

If you can't tell this is an airstream. Every major in CCAD has to work on something with the airstream. Our project was to create a travel poster.

 Sketches

 More Sketchs

Holy Cow thats a lot of Sketches!

This is the last I swear....

Then there are larger sketches and shade studies

Then a few basic color studies

In the end I choose the first big sketch of the Airstream but showed the back instead of the side.

The whole idea was to places that you can go with an airstream. Airstream users has traveled to many places and I wanted the puddles to reflect on that. I also loved the shapes that I saw in posters like the 1950s Disney's Tommorrowland and National Park Posters

Next is to vector all the shapes in illustrator with the pen tool, add text, and color.

I had to add more shapes in the Airstream because it didn't give much of shine airstream is well known for. I also had to redraw some of the places.

So here is the finished poster!

I promise I will upload more stuff. I have a few more projects starting already and I'm heading to Montreal for Spring break so there will definitely be pictures.
